Things are actually looking up for Detroit Mercy, in large part because of the contributions of freshmen ― which is almost unheard of these days, in the post-COVID age and the era of the transfer portal. Two true freshmen are averaging more than 20 minutes a game for the Titans, and four more freshmen are averaging more than 10.
